Case Example:
An 87-year-old male and former top level government official during the Reagan administration is believed by his children to be making questionable decisions regarding his business affairs and his strong desire to amend his Trust to provide for his new “girlfriend” of three months. The client suffered from significant cognitive deficits and paranoid delusions that interfered with his ability to understand the rights, duties and responsibilities involved in his decisions to make changes to contracts and his Trust.
